What exactly is a SmartLipo™ procedure?

A very fine tube (approximately 1.0 mm to 2.0 mm in diameter) has a laser fiber that is inserted through the skin directly into the layer of fat. The cannula, or the tube, is gently moved back and forth to deliver the laser’s energy into the fat cells. This action causes rupturing of the fat cells and makes it easy to drain them away. As the laser comes in contact with the dermis (under layer of skin), collagen shrinks, thereby leading to a smoother, younger-looking skin*. SmartLipo™ is a minimally invasive procedure thanks to the fine tube insertion. The surgery is performed under local anesthesia.

With SmartLipo™ there is nearly no bleeding as laser causes the blood vessels to coagulate on contact*. It is advised that you rest after the procedure and that activity is gradually resumed. Avoid strenuous exercise and hot tub baths for at least two to three days following SmartLipo™ treatment.

Does SmartLipo™ help in the treatment of cellulite?

SmartLipo™ does improve the bodys shape and does reduce cellulite to a certain degree*.

How soon are results visible?
